Shiraz (95%) Viognier (5%). A longer process has started for this vintage, after a natural ferment, including 30% whole-bunch, that was left on-skins for 6 weeks, the wine was pressed to puncheons and left for one year then the next year, matured in untoasted Stockinger barrels. No additions or encouragement. Unfined and unfiltered.
Darker, with a brooding quality that makes you interested now but patience will, as they say, reward. Exotic spice, flowers like rose, raspberry and cherry. Lots going on- Brian Martin.
