From 40-or-so year old vines farmed organically. Raised in glass-lined vats. Man! Delicious! Pure and fresh but with just enough body to let you know you’re allowed flavour in muscadet wine. Sea spray and lemon scents, a touch of herbal stuff too. Flavours light, clean, lemony, salty, faintly nutty. Nice! Lean and racy, mineral-licked wine. Superb drinking – hang the score. Oysters at the ready- Mike Bennie.
