100% Pinot Noir from the Whisson Lake and Budenberg Vineyards in Uraidla. Light loamy clay over sandstone with extensive schist and quartz rubble in the soils leads to a strong velvety tannins up front with with a black tea finish. The wine was made with 100% whole cluster open top fermentation, 11 months in French oak barriques of which 25% new. Beautiful and unique expression of Pinot Noir that has us very excited. Enjoy after dinner.
