100% Aleatico from fifty year old vines, a delicate vintage with 2 hours skin contact before being pressed and rested for a year. It reminds us of Dane Johns’ (Momento Mori) Cardinia Ranges Rose. Light spice on the nose with notes of wild strawberries, watermelon, grapefruit and cranberries. A wonderfully silky texture with a complex and savoury driven palate, supple and graceful from start to finish. An incredible wine, probably the finest we have right now.
